We normally throw these watermelon rinds away but now you can make and store tutti frutti to be used all year long. #HappyCookingToYou #FoodFusion #watermelonrind #Watermelon #digitalammi Written Recipe: https://bit.ly/3oCHQK6 Recipe in English: Ingredients: -Tarbooz ka chilka (Watermelon rind) as required -Boiling water as required -Sugar 3 Cups -Water 1 & ½ Cup -Kewra essence few drops -Red food color as required -Green food color as required -Orange food color as required Directions: -Peel watermelon rind with the help of peeler. -Cut white part into small cubes & set aside (approx. ½ kg). -In a pot,add water & bring it to boil. -Add watermelon cubes & bring it to boil,cover & cook on medium flame for 10-12 minutes then strain & set aside. -In a pot,add sugar, water,mix well & cook until sugar is dissolved. -Add kewra essence,boiled watermelon cubes,mix well,bring it to boil,cover & cook on low flame for 20-25 minutes. -Divide prepared watermelon cubes in 3 separate bowls. -Add red food color,green food color & orange food color in each bowls respectively,mix well & allow to soak for 5-6 hours or overnight. -Drain excess liquid & let it air dry for few hours. -Once the tutti-frutti dries off completely it will not be sticky,mix the colors together. -Can be stored in an airtight container for up to 6 months (shelf life) or refrigerate until use. Recipe in Urdu: Ajza: -Tarbooz ka chilka (Watermelon rind) as required -Boiling water as required -Sugar 3 Cups -Water 1 & ½ Cup -Kewra essence few drops -Red food color as required -Green food color as required -Orange food color as required Directions: -Tarbooz ka chilka ko peeler ki madad sa peel ker lein. -White part ko small cubes mein cut ker lein & side per rakh dein (approx. ½ kg). -Pot mein pani dal ker ubal lein. -Tarbooz ka cubes dal ker ubal lein aur cover ker ka darmiyani ancch per 10-12 minutes kliya paka lein phir strain ker ka side per rakh dein. -Pot mein cheeni aur pani dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur cheeni ghul janay tak paka lein. -Kewra essence & boiled tarbooz ka cubes dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur ubal anay ka bad dhak dein aur halki ancch per 20-25 miutes kliya paka lein. -Tayyar tarbooz ka cubes ko 3 portions mein divide ker lein. -Alag alag bowl mein red food color,green food color & orange food color dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur 5-6 hours ya overnight soak hunay kliya chor dein. -Excess liquid ko drain ker lein aur few hours kliya air dry ker lein. -Jab tutti-frutti completely dry ho jaye to mix ker lein. -Airtight container mein dal ker 6 months kliya store ker saktay han (shelf life) or use kernay tak refrigerator mein rakh dein.
